Framing The Roof
Citadel assisted the main contractor with the framing of the roof at their request, to ensure all roofing works were safe and compliant with current building regulations.
Tiling The Roof
After felting and battening the roof, the two keylite roof windows are fitted. The selected roof tiles are then cut where required and fastened into possition to ensure a watertight roof covering.
Flashing
Flashings are then fitted to all abutments to prevent the ingress of water from all directions.
Roofing battens are left long for the main contractor to shorten to the required length whilst completing the outer wall leaf and rendering externally.
